A family traveling in a car had a miraculous escape when a truck crashed on top of them after losing control near the Al-Khayr Bridge in central Jeddah, Tuesday. The Ethiopian driver of the large water transport truck, who was reportedly traveling at high speed, lost control in his attempt to overtake vehicles on the Al-Khayr Bridge and collided with a car before crashing through the steel barrier and falling six meters onto the family's vehicle below. The driver of the truck escaped with only minor injuries, while traffic in the area was paralyzed for one-and-a-half hours as investigators surveyed the scene.
