The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates and Egypt held a joint meeting yesterday in Abu Dhabi to discuss the current situation in Syria from the regional point of view. Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the meeting. The Ministers expressed their continuing strong concern at the events in Syria, and the increasing potential for a destabilization of the wider region.
