Saudi Aramco Company said today that while carrying out a periodic preventive maintenance, a limited gas leakage occurred at Jeddah refinery which resulted in the death of one person. In a statement issued today, the company stressed that the leakage was immediately stopped and the accident did not affect the company's operations. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the leakage, the statement said. Aramco offered condolences to victim's family, asking Allah Almighty to bless his soul.
