Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Monday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the Crown Prince, the princes and ministers, members of the Cabinet, expressed their congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of his ascension to the throne, which falls on Monday, 26 Jumada II, 1434 AH. They expressed their thanks and praise to Allah Almighty for numerous blessings bestowed upon the Kingdom, particularly the blessings of adhering to the Islamic religion, security and safety, and cohesion between the leadership and the people, praying to Allah Almighty to crown the King's efforts with success and help him to continue the march of prosperity and progress enjoyed by citizens. The Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, said a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session that the Cabinet expressed its great appreciation and pride for the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to make an inventory of all damages caused by the rains witnessed by the regions and governorates of the Kingdom to compensate those affected people and to pay one month's salary for each personnel of civil defense who performed their duties towards their religion and homeland with all devotion and sincerity.
