Pakistani police say two bomb blasts have killed nine supporters of two Pakistani politicians at their campaign offices in the country's northwest. Police official Mujtaba Hussain says the first attack Sunday on the outskirts of Kohat city killed six people. He says the politician, Syed Noor Akbar, is running as an independent candidate for a national assembly seat in general elections to be held on May 11. Police officer Saifur Rehman says the second bomb killed three at the office of another independent candidate, Nasir Khan Afridi, also running for a national assembly seat, in the suburbs of Peshawar. No one has claimed responsibility, according to a report of the Associated Press.
