The Secretary General of Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki met today with Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest between the Muslim World League and Kuwaiti universities and cultural institutions. The Kuwaiti Ambassador commended the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States in the fields of care, rehabilitation and protection of youths from social ills, and their fortification against delinquency towards deviant thought and extremism. He praised the role played by the Muslim World League and its Islamic bodies in the fields of Islamic awareness and correction of misconceptions among the youths. For his part, Dr. Al-Turki also met today with an Indonesian Islamic delegation headed by the Rector of Malik Ibrahim Islamic University Dr. Imam Sofra Yugo. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest between the Muslim World League and Indonesian universities.
