US President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke Friday about the terrorist attack in Boston. President Putin offered condolences for the loss of life in the attack, the White House said. President Obama thanked him for "the close cooperation that the United States has received from Russia on counter-terrorism, including in the wake of the Boston attack," spokesman Jay Carney said in a statement quoted by DPA.
