Death toll in Indonesian boat sinking rises to 12

The death toll from a boat accident on an Indonesian river rose to 12, with another 12 missing, an official said Friday according to dpa.
The motor boat was carrying more than 60 timber company workers when it sank Wednesday on the Mahakam River in East Kalimantan province.
Forty-one people were rescued, local disaster management chief Wahyu Widhi said.
