Al-Hussein visits SPA site at Al-Janadriyah festival

Janadriyah, outskirts of Riyadh city, Jumada II 9, 1434, April 19, 2013, SPA -- His Excellency Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, the President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), has paid an inspection visit to the site of SPA at the National Festival for Heritage and Culture 28.
To mark the visit, he extended thanks to and appreciation of Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and Commander of the National Guard, who is also Chairman of the Higher Committee for the National Festival for Heritage and Culture, for the service extended and the efforts exerted by the festival's administration to facilitate SPA coverage of the event.
Al-Hussein also thanked Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, for opening SPA site at this year's festival and for his continuous support for SPA.
Thanks also went to Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, Deputy Assistant Commander of the National Guard and Deputy Chairman of the Higher Committee for the National Festival for Heritage and Culture, for helping SPA to achieve its mission in Al-Janadriyah effectively.
Al-Hussein also expressed pleasure for the visits paid by princes, ministers and officials to SPA site in Al-Janadriyah and their positive and encouraging remarks towards the coverage of SPA.
He reported that SPA's 60-member team consisting of editors, photographers and technicians were able to transmit from 60 to 70 report items from Al-Janadriyah on daily bases in addition to more than 100 photographs.
SPA President noted the big turnout of visitors of SPA site who saw the photo exhibition which includes photographs for the Saudi leaders during different historic events, the development of Al-Janadriyah festival since its inception 28 years ago till it reached its current global level, as well as photographs of different regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Al-Hussein then extended thanks to his team assigned to cover the festival for the strenuous efforts they have exerted to make SPA mission a success, wishing them all the best.
