The Saudi ambassador to Mauritania Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Jabri delivered in Nouakchott today 100 tons of dates to Mauritania's Food Security Commission as a gift from the Saudi government, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. In a speech on the occasion, Mohammed Wild Mohamadou, Food Security Commissioner, said the Saudi government always stands by the side of the people of Mauritania in all crises and at developments stations. For his part, the ambassador said the gift is an indication to the firmness of the close historical relations between the two friendly countries.
