Governor of Riyadh Region Inaugurates Projects of Saudi Electricity Company In Wadi Al-Dawasser

Dawasser, Jumada I 29, 1434, Apr 10, 2013, SPA -- Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region, patronized in the presence of Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Vice Governor of Riyadh Region, here Tuesday evening the inauguration ceremony of the expansion of power station in Joubah and laying the foundation stones for the electricity interconnection project with the public network between Wadi Al-Dawasser and Sulayyil Governorates.
The Princes were received upon their arrival by the Minister of Water and Electricity Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Hossein and the Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Electricity Company Eng. Ali bin Saleh Al-Barrak.
Addressing the ceremony, Eng. Al-Barrak said that the costs of the expansion of the power station amounts to SR 363 million and the electricity interconnection project amounts to SR 763 million.
The Governor of Riyadh region expressed in a press statement his happiness over this achievement which is one of the outcomes of generous support provided for all projects in the region by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier.
