Saudi Arabia and Egypt today signed the first Executive Program to activate the memorandum of understanding in the field of environment protection which was signed in November 2005 in Cairo. Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, President of the General Commission for Meteorology and Protection of Environment, signed for Saudi Arabia while Egypt's Minister of State for Environment Dr. Khalid Mohammed Fahmi signed for his country. The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the 15th session of the Ministerial Council of the Regional Commission for the Preservation of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, which was held in Jeddah today
