Qatari Deputy Prime Minister Meets with Assistant to Sudanese President

Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud met here today with Abdulrahman Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, Assistant to the Sudanese President.
During the meeting, they discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations. The two sides also reviewed the positive developments of the Darfur Peace Process in light of the accord held between the government of Sudan and the Sudanese Justice and Equality Movement, and arrangements for holding the international conference for the reconstruction and development in Darfur due to convene in Doha next Sunday.
