In his first foreign tour since assuming office, China's President Xi Jin Ping left Beijing today heading for Russia, his first leg in a four-nation state tour that will also take him to Tanzania, South Africa and the Republic of Congo at invitations of their leaders. In South Africa, Ping is scheduled to attend the 5th summit of the BRICS countries which groups Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
