Britain's Heir Apparent Charles, the Prince of Wales, paid today a visit to the headquarters of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah and met with the OIC Secretary General, Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu. During the meeting, Prince Charles was briefed on the overall activities of the organization and its works in the areas of development of agricultural resources. Prince Charles expressed his admiration for the Organization's activities, stressing his desire to direct his charitable institutions to support the works of the Organization, and to provide their wide experiences in the fields of water and agricultural resources to the OIC Member States. Prince Charles watched a replica of the OIC new permanent building and Professor Ihsanoglu briefed him that the land of the headquarters and the building are a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
