OIC Secretary General Congratulates New Pope of the Vatican

The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has sent a letter of congratulation to the new Pope of the Vatican.
The Secretary General said the he seizes this opportunity to express ardent hope that under the new Pope guidance and leadership the relationship between Islam and Christianity will regain its cordiality and sincere friendship.
