Crown Prince opens Maaraz Al-Eiman exhibition and patronizes the ceremony marking the selection of Al-Madinah as capital of Islamic culture 3 Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah

Tuwaijri, Secretary General of the Rabat-based Islamic Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), expressed gratitude to the monarch for his continuous patronage of Islamic action and to ISESCO for initiating the program of celebrating Islamic culture in a selected capital in the Islamic world.
He cast light on the special role of the city of the Prophet in the spread of the divine mission of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).
He also pointed to the care of Saudi kings, starting from late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman, the founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, up to the current era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Al-Tuwaijri said 31 Islamic capitals are going to host the annual event, following Al-Madinah suit, over the period from 2015 - 2024.
