Minister of Economy and Planning Dr. Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Jasser opened a workshop of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on intensification of productive activities in order to achieve diversification of the economic base. The minister delivered a speech at the workshop, which was held yesterday at the Ministry of Economy and Planning with the participation of officials in-charge of planning and development of the GCC countries. The speech highlighted the importance of benefiting from the exchange of views and experiences accumulated by the concerned authorities of planning and economic and social development in the GCC countries in order to create a common vision for the best alternatives available to address the challenges facing the development process integration of the GCC countries.
