A Palestinian youth Saturday was hit in the face by a tear gas grenade fired by Israeli soldiers at Huwara checkpoint south of Nablus, according to witnesses and medics. Soldiers fired tear gas at a group of people marking 44 years for the establishment of Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine near the checkpoint hitting one youth in the face, they said. Medics said the injury was light. Many others were treated for gas inhalation and four from rubber-coated metal bullet injuries, they were quoted as saying by Palestine News and Information Agency "WAFA."
