Two Malaysian police officers were killed Friday during a firefight with a group of Filipinos holed up for three weeks in the eastern state of Sabah to assert their claim over the territory, the state-run Bernama news agency said. The Bernama report said two soldiers injured in the exchange of gunfire with the Philippine intruders have been airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
