Watan newspaper said that Al-Mokhtar Army is a paper tiger and downplayed threats by Wathiq Al-Battat, the commander of Al-Mokhtar Army which belongs to Iraq's Hezbollah. Al-Youm newspaper described the Russian diplomacy towards Syria's crisis as full of contradictions as Moscow continues to arm Al-Assad regime indicating that Moscow is keen on the regime's survival. Finally, Al-Madinah newspaper commented on the Iranian nuclear issue saying that the U.S. administration has not abandoned the policy of carrot and stick in the face of the crisis.
