Saudi Embassy in Havana will move today to a new headquarters in the presence of Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Khalid, Assistant Foreign Minister and a number of Cuban officials. In a statement on this occasion, Saudi Ambassador to Cuba Saeed bin Hassan Al-Jamie described the transfer of the embassy to the new headquarters as a genuine launch to deepen bilateral relations and cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Cuba in realization of the visions of the leaderships of the two countries and in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He pointed out that delegations from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have visited Havana seeking for opportunities in the fields of agriculture, trade and investment in joint ventures. For his part, Cuban Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia José Enrique Enriquez Rodriguez described Saudi Arabia's participation in Havana International Book Fair as an important occasion to strengthen cooperation between the two countries. He noted that there is an economic cooperation between the two friendly countries in some areas, especially in the agricultural field.
