A joint meeting has been held recently at General Organization for King Fahd Causeway to discuss the railway project linking the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting included representatives from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the General Secretariat of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States, and the team in charge of preparing and studying the feasibility of a railway linking the two countries with the GCC railway project. The meeting discussed global companies nominated to carry out the study of the project.
