Indian Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh on Sunday visited the sites in the southern city of Hyderabad, where twin explosions left 16 dead, and called on the injured at hospitals. The bombs, planted on bicycles, exploded in a crowded market and residential area of Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh state, late on Thursday. A further 117 people were injured. "I am here to stand in solidarity with the people of the city," Dr. Singh was quoted as saying by DPA. "It is most important in this hour of grief that people should maintain calm. I'm very happy that Hyderabad's people have refused to be provoked by this nefarious act of terrorism."
