Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, the Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member States, has vehemently condemned desperate attempts intended to destabilize the Kingdom of Bahrain's security and stability by sowing terrorist cells and plotting to commit criminal acts in order to jeopardize the safety and security of citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In a statement issued here today, Dr. Al-Zayani emphasized the supportive stance of GCC member States of the Kingdom of Bahrain in all actions it takes in order to safeguard its security and stability and to ensure the safety of its community. The GCC States strongly denounced any attempt intended to destabilize the Kingdom of Bahrain's security and stability, the statement added. Dr. Al-Zayani also praised existing cooperation and coordination among the highly efficient and capable GCC Security Directorates which contributed to foiling the terror plots by pinpointing the terror cells and arresting their elements.
