Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) stressed that the Cabinet's decision last Monday approving the State's participation in the establishment of a company to develop and invest in heritage buildings in heritage sites' accommodation and hospitality represents a new phase of the State's support and interest in investing in the sites of architectural heritage. The Prince expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, for the issuance of this decision, which comes within the framework of a number of decisions issued by the State on tourism and national heritage sector to be a tributary to the national economy, and provide job opportunities for citizens in various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The initial capital of the Company is SR 250 million.
