Participants in International Conference on United Nations Cooperation with Counter-Terrorism Center entitled "Encouragement of partners to contribute to building capabilities'' expressed at the end of the two-day conference here today their appreciation of the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the success of the conference, expressing their thanks to the Kingdom's leadership, government and people for their hospitality and warm reception . The final statement read by the Representative of United Nations Secretary-General expressed its thanks to the Kingdom for its full support of the United Nations, appreciating full commitment of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the accomplishment of international efforts to combat terrorism and the works of the United Nations in this direction. The statement pointed out that the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon gives the fight against terrorism a paramount importance, as does the United Nations, including the United Nations Centre for the fight against terrorism. The statement emphasized that Member States are willing to provide international support and collective efforts to combat terrorism, which appeared in the deliberations and discussions that spread in this successful conference in Riyadh. --More
