Yaum newspaper commented on exchanging kidnappings of civilians in Syrian villages. The newspaper called for preventing Al-Assad regime from making kidnappings a new culture of conflict. On the Egyptian issue, Al-Sharq newspaper said that Egypt needs a gathering to defend the interests of large segments of the citizens, without immersion in ideology-tugging. Finally, Al-Madinah newspaper asserted Iranian leaders' attempts to export their revolution citing their recent interferences in Egypt.
