Iraqi Senior Intelligence Officer Killed in Suicide Attack

A senior Iraqi intelligence officer and three bodyguards were killed Saturday in a suicide attack in northern Iraq, dpa quoted police as saying.
Brigadier Awni Ali, the chief of the General Intelligence School, and three of his bodyguards were killed when a suicide bomber blew himself up at a military checkpoint near the city of Mosul, reported the Iraqi independent website Alsumaria News.
