Saudi newspapers' editorials for today highlighted a number of current issues. Al-Watan and Al-Sharq newspapers highlighted the firm Saudi positions toward the Syrian cause. In this regard, the two newspapers mentioned the assertion made by the Saudi foreign minister during a press conference held yesterday in Riyadh pertaining to the Kingdom's rejection of making any concession to Iran over its nuclear program, reflecting the Saudi foreign policy that does not compromise in ensuring the maintenance of international peace and security. Al-Bilad newspaper noted the Kingdom's criticisms and observations on the declining role of the Security Council towards international issues emerging in different parts of the world, particularly in the Middle East with the Palestinian cause at the top. The newspaper highlighted the demand of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz to reform the U.N. Security Council. --More
