The Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah has stressed that health facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia should apply Quality Mastering, Improvement and Patients Safety Programs. The Official Spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Khalid Marghalani said in a statement that improving health services and raising the levels of the patients safety is one of the most important priorities of the ministry and its strategic axes, noting that the Minister of Health is following up the implementation of safety programs and projects to improve medical performance in all health facilities to achieve the highest levels of health services provided to patients. The Spokesman added that 50 hospitals of the Ministry have received certificates of local accreditation from the Central Council for Accreditation and 17 health facilities from American Accreditation Commission for health facilities.
