A Royal Order was issued here today, appointing Dr. Majed bin Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Muneef as Secretary General of the Supreme Economic Council, replacing Saud bin Saleh bin Hamad Al-Saleh who requested to be relieved of his post. The order said that after having been informed of the wish of Saud bin Saleh bin Hamad Al-Saleh to be relieved of his post as Secretary General of the Supreme Economic Council, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al saud approved the request and, instead, appointed Dr. Majed bin Abdullah bin Ibrhaim Al-Muneef as Secretary General of the Supreme Economic Council in the rank of minister. The statement, issued by the Royal Court, said the concerned authorities should carry out the Royal Order with immediate effect.
