The Kingdom's non-petroleum exports during last December jumped to sr9247 million from sr 7981 in December 2006. According to the report released by the department of general statistics and information at the ministry of economy and planning, the exports included petrochemical commodities (sr2700 million), plastic products (sr2039 million), normal metal commodities (sr748 million), and re-exported commodities (sr1084 million). As regard the Kingdom's imports in last December, they amounted to sr30108 million. In December 2006, the imports amounted to sr 24323. The imported commodities included electric appliances and equipment, transport equipment, normal metals and their products as well as food materials. The countries which imported from the Kingdom included the UAE, China and the US. --more
