Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour met here today with Egyptian Minister of Transport Hatim Abdullatif and Iraqi Minister of Transport Hadi Al-Ameri. During the meeting, the Jordanian Prime Minister was briefed on the meetings of the general committee for the Arab Bridge Maritime Company held in Amman to endorse the joint venture's 2012 budget and its next agenda. Ensour said AB Maritime, a joint venture between the governments of Jordan, Iraq and Egypt, is a major success story and "bright spot in pan-Arab cooperation." He spoke about the Aqaba-based company's key role in promoting trade and the flow of goods between Arab countries in the west and East as well as propping up growth in the port of Aqaba.
