The 1st Arab Conference of Control on Food, Drug and Medical Devices, Challenges and Aspirations will be held in the city of Sharm Al-Sheikh, Egypt on April 6-8, 2013. The Conference will be organized by Saudi General Authority for Food and Drug, Arab Organization for Administrative Development, and Executive Board of the Council of Health Ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States. The Board's Director General and Head of the Conference Dr. Tawfiq Bin Ahmed Khoja pointed out that this is the first conference to be held at the level of Arab States and Eastern Mediterranean Region.
