Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet member and Commander of the National Guard, received here today South Korean Minister of Defense Kim Kwan-jin and the accompanying delegation. While welcoming South Korean Minister of Defense and his delegation, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah praised the existing friendly relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and South Korea, and the keenness of the leaderships of the two countries to consolidate and develop these relations in all fields, to meet the aspirations of the two countries and peoples. Kwan-jin expressed his government's appreciation for the positive role played by the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud in the field of security and stability in the region and the world, noting the depth of the strong relationship between South Korea and the Kingdom. The South Korean Minister of Defense, then, decorated Prince Miteb bin Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz with the Medal of Excellence for Diplomatic Service, which has been granted by the Government of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) to Prince Miteb bin Abdullah in recognition of his contribution to the promotion of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the Kingdom. In turn, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah presented the Shield of the National Guard to the Korean Minister of Defense, Kim Kwan-jin.
