Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense received today a message from South Korean President Park Geun-hye. The message was delivered to the Crown Prince during an audience here this morning with South Korean Defense Minister Kim Kwan-jin. The Crown Prince welcomed the South Korean Defense Minister on his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wishing him and the accompanying delegation a pleasant stay. On his part, the South Korean Minister expressed his happiness to visit the Kingdom and meet the Crown Prince, emphasizing deep relations of friendship and close cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, particularly in the military fields and ways of enhancing them, as well as the latest developments at regional and international arenas. The Crown Prince and the South Korean Minister of Defense, then, signed a cooperation agreement between the Defense Ministries of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of South Korea. The audience and signing ceremony were attended by Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Defence Minister; Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Special Advisor and Supervisor of the Office and Special Affairs of the Crown Prince; Chief of General Staff General Hussein bin Abdullah Al-Qabil; Director General of the Office of Defense Minister Lieutenant General Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Bunyan; and a number of senior officers and officials.
