Border guard soldier martyrs while confronting smugglers in Jazan

Border Guard Command in Jazan region announced today the martyrdom of the border guard soldier Abdul-Baqi bin Obaidan Al-Mutani, when he was shot by a group of smugglers while performing his daily work tasks.
Colonel Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mahfouz, Border Guard media spokesman in Jazan region said that soldier Al-Mutani martyred after being shot in the head in a confrontation with smugglers in Al-Daer Bani Malik province, pointing out that smugglers fled and search is underway to get them caught.
He also said that Commander of Jazan Border Guard Maj. General Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Sobhi conveyed condolences of the leadership to family of the martyr.
