The Secretary General of Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki received here today the Chairman of Islamic Council in Kenya Sheikh Qari Fadhl-Ilahi. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Turki stressed the League's keenness on cooperating with the Council, particularly in the field of teaching and memorization of the Holy Quran. For his part, Sheikh Fadhl-Ilahi pointed out that the Council supervises 19 mosques and two schools for memorization of the Holy Quran, noting that the number of Muslims in Kenya is four million people accounting for 20% of the population.
