Spain's biggest airline Iberia will press ahead with restructuring plans after talks with trade unions failed, its owner, dpa cited International Airlines Grou as saying on Friday. The plan, published in November 2012, includes cutting Iberia's network capacity by 15 per cent following a merger with British Airways. IAG did not say whether it also maintained plans to cut 4,500 jobs, after unions rejected an offer of only 3,147 job cuts. Unions said they were considering calling five strike days in the second half of this month. IAG said it would move forward on "alternative plans" to restore Iberia to "an acceptable level of profitability" by 2015. -- SPA
