Othaimeen pointed out that as many as 223 male and female winners from 40 countries have so far won the Prize in its five branches, noting that 16 male and female winners of King Faisal International Prize have also won Nobel Prize in the same works for which they have won King Faisal Prize. For his part, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal said in a press conference that King Faisal International Prize this year will form a new commission that will hold a meeting after two months to hand over the Prize. The Prince said that the Prize is the best expression of the levels and thoughts of Saudi citizens as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoys high prestigious reputation around the world.
