Deputy Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Hussein opened here today the symposium of science and technology and joint workshops with the French General Directorate for Armament. Addressing the ceremony, the Director General of General Directorate for Science and Technology in the Armed Forces, Major General Eng. Nasser bin Abdullah Al-Subaie welcomed the participants in the symposium and workshops organized by the General Directorate under the title "Transfer and Indigenization of Technology Supports Defense and National Security." He hoped that the meetings at the symposium and workshops will contribute to enhancing knowledge about France's advanced technological capabilities and linking them with needs of the Kingdom's Ministry of Defense. The ceremony was attended by Prince Dr. Turki bin Saud bin Mohammed, Vice President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology for Research Institutes, and a number of senior officers and officials.
