A key eurozone economic indicator hit a ten-month high this month, dpa cited data released Thursday as showing. The London-based Markit research group said the eurozone purchasing managers' (PMI) composite index for the manufacturing and services sector jumped to 48.2 points in January from 47.2 in December. Analysts had expected the PMI would rise to 47.5 this month. The index was still below the 50 mark, indicating a contraction.
