Egyptian President arrives in Jeddah

Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi arrived in Jeddah this evening coming from Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah to perform Umrah (minor Hajj) in the holy city of Makkah.
President Morsi is scheduled to leave for Riyadh later to take part in the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit to be held in Riyadh on Monday.
At King Abdulaziz International Airport, he was received by Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah Province; senior protocol officials and the Jeddah-based Egyptian Consulate General officials.
