Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) will provide an amount exceeding US$1.8 million to help the displaced persons from the Rakhine State in Myanmar. The assistance will be provided under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed here yesterday between the SFD and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The assistance will assist the UNHCR in building temporary and permanent housing for approximately 75,000 displaced persons.
