The Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, has expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the occasion of re-constitution of Majlis Al-Shura. He praised the royal order which amended some articles of Majlis to allow the representation of women in it, at least 20% of the total number of members of the Majlis. In a press statement, he said that the support, patronage and care of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense for Majlis and its works have enhanced its role as a partner in the national decision-making and its distinguished status at regional and international arenas.
