Three Kurdish women were found dead in the early hours of Thursday at a centre for the Kurdish community in Paris after being shot in the head, French radio reported. The ActuKurdes news site said one of the victims was Sakine Cansiz, whom it described as one of the founding members of the militant Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK). Interior Minister Manuel Valls confirmed the three women's deaths but not their identities and said a murder investigation was underway. He was to visit the scene later Thursday. The centre is located in the 10th district of Paris, near Gare du Nord train station. The bodies were discovered by members of the community.
