Eight people were killed and 28 others injured in a pileup in northwest China's Qinghai Province on Tuesday afternoon, said rescuers. A coal-carrying truck ran out of control at 1:15 p.m. and resulted in a 14-vehicle pileup on a highway in Minhe County of Qinghai, Xinhua quoted rescuers as saying. The 28 injured people, seven on which are in critical conditions, have all been hospitalized.
