U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton returned to her post Monday for the first time since suffering a concussion and a blood clot, UPI quoted officials as saying. At 9:15 a.m., Clinton arrived at the Department of State to meet with assistant secretaries, the department said in a release. On Thursday, spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said Clinton was "looking forward to getting back to the office." Clinton has a busy first week back at work, with meetings scheduled with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and national security adviser Tom Donilon and events planned for Afghan President Hamid Karzai's visit to Washington, CNN reported. Clinton was discharged from the hospital Wednesday, three days after being admitted for the treatment of a blood clot in a vein between her skull and brain. Doctors discovered the clot during a medical test related to a concussion Clinton suffered in December.
