The blood clot that has sent US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton to hospital is situated in a vein between her brain and skull behind the right ear, her physicians said Monday. Drs Lisa Bardack and Gigi El-Bayoumi said Hillary Clinton was in "good spirits," adding that she is engaging with "her doctors, her family and her staff." Hillary Clinton was admitted to New York-Presbyterian Hospital on Sunday after the blood clot was discovered during a routine check up after a concussion she sustained several weeks ago. "To help dissolve this clot, her medical team began treating the secretary with blood thinners," the doctors said in a statement. "In all other aspects of her recovery, the Secretary is making excellent progress and we are confident she will make a full recovery," they were quoted as saying by DPA. Hillary Clinton, 65, suffered the concussion this month when she fainted due to a stomach virus and dehydration, according to reports on December 15.
